We collected 60 bikes to refurbish and redeem at the Prior Lake area garbage collection day on an April morning at the Twin Oaks Middle School parking lot.
We are in the process of restoring these bikes and getting them in the hands of kids who would not otherwise have a bike to ride.
Huge thanks to Penn Cycle who opened their shop to ROJ and friends and hosted a bike fixin’ event in May where 40 of the bikes were prepped for delivery.

During the summer of 2008, we delivered a dozen bicycles to our friends at Redeemer Lutheran who gave the bikes away as part of their annual summer block party. We were thrilled to be a part of what God is doing through the wonderful people at Redeemer and look to build this and other partnerships in the summer of 2009 with this initiative.
