Getting involved in God’s mission in the world is not that hard. You don’t need special schooling or a diploma on your wall.
At a recent ROJ worship service we decide to focus our efforts for the month of July on blessing marriages of people we know or perhaps don’t know. Sara stepped up to lead this initiative and put it this way on her Facebook page:
“It has been heartbreaking to me over the years to have so many people who are dear to my heart end up separated or divorced. I am on a mission to do what I can to help strengthen marriages. Brian and I have been super blessed by a friend who has watched our children for FREE or a minimal cost so hubby and I could have some marriage time. Now it’s time to pay it forward. Maybe you would like to pay it forward as well……..and help YOUR friends/family to strengthen their marraiges…..I DOUBLE-DOG-DARE-YA!”
Let’s just do good things to help marriages thrive and invite our friends and family to do the same.
Think about it and pray about it and you will undoubtedly find a way to bless someone and probably be led to the couple(s) who you should bless. Have some fun blessing the marriages of some friends or family.
