My family and I have been attending River of Joy for a more than a year now.  I don’t know if I can put into words exactly what being a part of this church has meant to me.  My faith has grown so much.  I used to be a person that would attend church, but didn’t really feel like I belonged — or maybe that I felt something was missing.  River of Joy has filled that void and is much more than just worship.  It is truly God’s work, our hands.

It is a church that when someone expresses a need, we pull together and get it done.  Whether it be filling spots at Feed My Starving Children, serving a meal, buying gifts for a teenage homeless shelter – or whatever it may be, we feel the need and that God is calling us to be his servants here on earth and to help those in need.  Our small church has made such a BIG impact.  It is such a safe place to let down your guard and be surrounded by precious friendships with the Holy Spirit so present in each one of us.  Like I said, it is hard to put into words.  You just need to come and experience it!
